Meet Morgan

Hello! I'm Morgan, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia, specializing in trauma treatment, PTSD, caregiver stress and work related burnout, depression and anxiety. I have found a passion in working with veterans, and other helping professions such as nursing, medical doctors, EMTs and all others who deserve support to help them continue their important work saving lives. I create a collaborative, nonjudgmental space using humor and respect to create feelings of warmth and trust. There is no shame in the room with us, and you can rest assured, there is also only honesty as we learn to navigate your problems

My approach is person-centered and strengths-based. I utilize a mix of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).

I believe every person deserves to be heard, and occasionally supported in their path towards positive changes. I know how hard it can be to ask for support, and would be honored if you reach out to work with me.

What clients are saying:

  • Morgan is a great therapist. She is very caring and understanding of others. I highly recommend reaching out to her if you need support.

  • Great experience with being able to open up emotionally and feel safe in doing so. I truly felt like I wasn't being judged and that I had someone on my team trying to help me better myself. I felt cared for and respected in the way I felt and I was given honest conversation. I have always been hesitant about going to therapy but this has changed my mind.

  • Morgan is a fantastic provider and the care given to me has improved the quality of my mental health in the time I have known her. I highly recommend her and the company overall. I am not a huge fan of therapy in general, but I do feel a sense of progress when speaking with her.

    L.V.

  • When I was 13, I got diagnosed with a rare and extremely painful health condition. I was terrified due to Covid. I could not go out without fear and seriously thought of suicide. Morgan was able to help me see a future that was worth living. When I graduated highschool I thanked her - if it had not been for her, I would not be here.

  • Morgan helped me see my value was more than just my husband's shadow. I had value myself. And my relationship with my family is better for it.
