Meet Amanda
Hello! Life isn’t getting easier, but having the tools to manage it can make all the difference. Building resilience and learning coping skills can help ease the weight and clear the path towards balance and stability. Taking the first step is always the hardest, but we can take that step as a team.
Always an advocate in the mental health field and pursuing a license in Professional Counseling, I am excited to move into direct client care. I approach counseling within a Cognitive-Behavioral framework, blending compassion and genuine care with evidence based solutions to create an accepting, nonjudgmental environment for change and healing.
My husband and I run a veritable zoo at home consisting of a 70 lb poodle, two talkative parakeets, a grumpy tarantula, and two feral teenaged girls. I am an expert chaos wrangler and an excellent listening ear. If you find yourself burdened with stress, conflict, and hardship, I am here to help.
