People learning together

Anger isn’t the problem. Feeling overwhelmed, unheard, stressed, or pushed past your limits often is. Whether your anger shows up as irritation, snapping at people you care about, shutting down, or explosive reactions you regret later, support is available — and you don’t have to figure this out alone.

Our practice offers individual anger management therapy and a structured Anger Management Group, starting March 2nd at 4pm, designed to help you understand your triggers, build real coping tools, and practice healthier patterns in a supportive, nonjudgmental space.

We have multiple therapists trained in evidence-based approaches for anger, emotional regulation, and stress.

Anger Management Therapy & Group Support

Is Anger Affecting Your Life?

You may benefit from anger management therapy if you’re experiencing:

  • Frequent irritability or frustration

  • Difficulty calming down once you’re upset

  • Relationship conflict caused by anger or tone

  • Trouble communicating without escalation

  • Feelings of guilt or shame after reacting

  • Work or family stress that turns into emotional overload

  • Physical tension, headaches, or anxiety related to anger

  • Avoidance, shutting down, or needing space but not knowing how to ask for it

  • Feeling “on edge” more often than you’d like

Anger isn’t a character flaw — it’s a signal. Therapy helps you understand what it’s pointing to.

What to Expect in Anger Management Therapy & Group Treatment

Individual therapy for anger focuses on helping you:

💬 Understand Your Triggers: We identify emotional patterns, stressors, and the deeper feelings beneath anger — often fear, hurt, or overwhelm.

🧠 Learn Evidence-Based Coping Skills: Your therapist may use CBT, DBT, mindfulness, grounding, and communication tools tailored to your needs.

🛑 Develop Pause + Regulation Strategies: You’ll practice slowing your reaction time so you can respond intentionally, not impulsively.

🤝 Strengthen Communication Skills: Learn how to express needs, set boundaries, and reduce conflict without shutting down or escalating.

🔄 Create Long-Term Behavior Change: We work on building new habits that help you stay steady even during challenging moments.
